We love Autumn!

Everything is turning brilliant colors - no I'm not on an acid trip! We here at SEG are just enjoying the this transitioning season before winter begins. The weather is cooler and very rainy here in the Southeast. Fortunately, the Serge Entertainment Group managed to escape the "monsoons" we've had here with only minimal damage so everything is cozy and decorated for Fall and Halloween here at headquarters. We are all wondering what costumes to wear for the parties. Should be fun this year with Halloween falling on a Saturday night.

Things are going well with SEPR promoting the Paris Keeling "End of Ride Revisited" CD release which you can purchase at http://www.myspace.com/pariskeeling, http://www.kellykeeling.net, and http://www.cdbaby.com/pariskeeling2. It's downloadable at the CD Baby site. We are still waiting for it to show up in iTunes because it experienced some unexpected delays thanks to a web site glitch with a certain online retailer. It should be at Amazon.com in a few weeks as well. The CD was released on Surgeland Records on August 28th, and the PR engine has been rolling ever since with lots of airplay and reviews already secured. More to come.

SEPR is also helping with Carmine Appice's Guitar Zeus "Conquering Heroes" CD release. You can find out more about it at http://www.myspace.com/guitarzeus. The CD features songs written by Carmine and Kelly Keeling (some also written by bassist Tony Franklin) with the lead guitar solos performed by famous guitarists such as Slash, Brian May, Zakk Wylde, Vivian Campbell, Richie Sambora, many more. Worth checking out for any guitar music enthusiast.

Also in the works is a PR campaign for a brilliant singer/songwriter Abby Parks. http://www.abbyparks.com. She has her CD release party this weekend In Gadsden, AL. Her CD The Homeplace is a delightful cd with wonderful storytelling songs.

Julius Curcio is returning to Atlanta on October 24th and will be performing at the Woodstock Coffee House on Towne Lake Parkway in Woodstock, GA for a full night of music. http://www.juliuslive.com

Eternal Descent is really busy with limited releases of custom ESP guitar series featuring the comic book art to be rolled out at the NAMM show in January. Marshall and Digitech have hopped on board along with several other mfrs, but the best news yet is IDW Publishing will be publishing the Eternal Descent comic book with the first issue to be released late 1st quarter 2010. A coordinating soundtrack produced by Eddie Kramer (Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones) will also be released. Very exciting news for the Eternal Descent team, goth music and comic book lovers alike. http://www.eternaldescent.com

Erik Norlander working on a new project as is Asia Featuring John Payne so watch for more info about those projects coming very soon. Check out John Payne's music podcast to keep with the latest news about John.

Lots more news to come. I should really blog more often so these notes are not so lengthy!

Happy Rocktober!
